Project Engineer – Construction

About the Role
We are looking for a highly organized and motivated Project Engineer to join our construction team. In this role, you will assist Project Managers with the administration of multiple construction projects, helping ensure projects run smoothly, stay on budget, and meet all compliance requirements. You will work closely with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to coordinate schedules, track supplies, and manage documentation.

Key Responsibilities
Assist Project Managers with the administration and oversight of construction projects
Support budgeting, cost coding, and cost estimates
Obtain required permits and licenses and ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and project teams on schedules, invoicing, and logistics
Track and manage inventory, equipment, and supplies to ensure projects stay on schedule
Prepare regular project updates and reports for stakeholders
Assist with risk evaluation and resolving unexpected situations or challenges
Update and communicate project schedules to ensure deadlines are met
Follow company policies, procedures, and best practices
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
1–5 years of experience in construction project management
Knowledge of construction, engineering, or architecture principles
Comfortable reading blueprints and drawings
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Basic understanding of budgeting, scheduling, and cost control
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Bilingual in Spanish preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer software
Physical Requirements
Ability to move or manipulate objects up to 20 lbs occasionally
Sit or stand for extended periods of time
Repetitive motion as required by daily tasks
Work Environment
