The Administrative Supervisor is responsible for managing the workflow of their team by assigning tasks, supporting staff, monitoring results and reporting to management. They contribute to the efficiency of their department by reviewing and improving processes and setting targets for their teams. The Supervisor is a hands-on leader who is responsible for motivating employees, leading by example, and serving as a link between subordinates and management. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in supervision, training, and direct assistance of Customer Service, inventory and warehouse operations which include, but not limited to: systems set up (testing and training), oversite of customer service operations, customer billing, order tracking, appointment scheduling, and inventory control.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, suppliers, and co-workers.
  • Generate and monitor reports, KPIs and operational metrics on a weekly or as needed basis.
  • Meets and exceeds customer satisfaction through strong understanding of customer expectations.
  • Author SOPs and ensure that all procedures and best practices are consistently followed. 
  • Drive efficiency, monitor employee productivity and motivate the workforce by providing effective coaching and regular feedback.
  • Receive and resolve internal and external escalated complaints, concerns, and issues.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels by leading regular physical counts with warehouse teams and reconcile discrepancies with the warehouse inventory system.
  • Ensure a culture of safety by enforcing safety standards and operational procedures.
  • Assist in the development and work within the operational budget.
  • Ensure a clean, organized, and well-maintained work area to reduce/eliminate harm to people and products.
  • Observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate.
  • Performs related work and other job assignments as required.

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma; Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field, or equivalent combination of experience and education.


REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Proven experience as a Customer Service, Inventory or warehouse operations leader with a positive leadership mindset and ability to hold people accountable
  • Ability to become a proficient user of CWI Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Strong communication, interpersonal skills, leadership, and conflict resolution
  • Strong knowledge of customer service, inventory control and/or warehousing practices and methods
  • Critical thinking ability and a proactive approach to problem solving
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and inventory management software
  • Bilingual Spanish and English preferred

 

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS


  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions to include meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. 
  • Effectively and safely lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance. 
  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach and climb stairs. The position requires sitting, standing & walking for extended periods of time.
  • Work in hot, cold and extremely cold environments for extended periods (freezer and cold storage facilities).
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and extended hours as required during peak seasons.
