General Summary
The ideal individual will be self-motivating, with the ability to work independently, and must take pride in their work. Â They must also be very detailed, organized, and accurate.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Compile data from sources such as contracts, purchase orders, invoices, requisitions, and accounting report and write, types, or enters information into computer to maintain inventory, purchasing, shipping, or other records.
- Coordinates and research missing product or product placed in an incorrect location.
- Compiles stock control records and information such as consumption rate, characteristics of items in storage, and current market conditions, to determine stock supply and need for replenishment.
- Directs and coordinates all physical inventories.
- Audits and monitors all cycle counts.
- Reviews files to determine unused items and recommends disposal of excess or damaged stock.
- Works with customers on inventory needs, recalls, and issues.
- Review warehouse storage practices to ensure proper racking, quality of pallets being used, and damaged cases in stock.
- Randomly inspect trailers to ensure sanitation specifications are being met and loading procedures are being followed.
- Audit the warehouses for GMP and SOP compliance.
- Confirm proper temperature is being maintained at each facility.
- Establish and maintain a HOLD area at each facility.
- Assist with inspections performed by customers, food safety inspectors and/or regulatory agencies.
- Oversee all special projects. Â Determine the amount of labor and supplies necessary to perform such projects.Â
- Back up or fill in for other positions as necessary including but not limited to CSR or other administrative support roles.
- Performs related work and other job assignments as required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Knowledge of general warehouse practices, terminology, and documents.
- Communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to safely and efficiently operate various types of Material Handling Equipment.
- Flexibility to work any/all shifts.
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
- Ability to effectively use warehouse management system.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to perform the essential job functions including meeting safely and successfully qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.Â
- Effectively handle lifting of various objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance.Â
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb stairs. The position requires standing, sitting and/or walking for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to work in varying temperatures from freezers to ambient temperatures.
