What You'll Do As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that our buildings, apartments, equipment, and grounds remain safe, functional, and attractive for our residents and team members. Responsibilities Include: Performing routine maintenance and preventative maintenance tasks Troubleshooting and repairing HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems Completing resident service requests promptly and professionally Performing drywall, painting, carpentry, flooring, and general repair work Maintaining community grounds and common areas Assisting with unit turns and apartment renovations Responding to maintenance emergencies and on-call situations as needed Conducting routine inspections of equipment, systems, and building components Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and company policies QualificationsStarting pay will be based on experience, technical skills, certifications, and demonstrated ability. Candidates at the higher end of the pay range should possess substantial HVAC experience, including: Package unit replacement Split-system installation and repair Ductwork fabrication and installation Mini-split installation and service PTAC installation and repair HVAC troubleshooting and diagnostics EPA certification (preferred) Required Qualifications At least 2 years of maintenance experience in residential, commercial, hospitality, healthcare, senior living, multifamily housing, or a related setting Ability to perform a wide variety of building maintenance and repair tasks Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work both indoors and outdoors Professional appearance and excellent customer service skills Preferred Qualifications Strong HVAC experience EPA Certification Experience with package units, split systems, mini-splits, and PTAC systems Working knowledge of plumbing systems Working knowledge of electrical systems Experience in senior living, hospitality, apartment maintenance, or healthcare settings Trade school education or relevant certifications
