Pharmacy Technician

National Spine & Pain Centers is seeking a Full-Time Pharmacy Technician to join our team of highly trained, caring professionals at our office in Winter Park.

• Schedule: Monday - Friday (no weekends or holidays)
• Hours: 8:00am-4:30pm

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications to patients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with prescriptions.
• Provide patient care by answering questions regarding medications and their administration, including intrathecal pump medications dispensing.
• Maintain inventory of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies, ensuring that stock levels are adequate for patient needs.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient service and optimal medication management.
• Utilize medical terminology effectively to communicate with team members and document patient information accurately.
• Support the pharmacy team in maintaining a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Job Requirements:

• Must have Pharmacy Technician Certificate by FL Board of Pharmacy. Nationally certified by PTCB preferred.
• Graduation from an accredited Pharmacy Technician program
• Completion of an external pharmacy technician training program is preferred.
• Knowledge of pharmacy work routines, procedures, materials and/or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of pharmacy terminology, medication names and aseptic technique required
