We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Prep Cook to join our esteemed culinary team within our casino’s food and beverage department. QualificationsPosition Summary: Under direct supervision of the Sous Chef, maintains the highest standards of cleanliness of all kitchen food preparation utensils, counters, containers, serving, cooking equipment, and common areas. Precisely follows recipes and instructions regarding food preparation, presentation, and storage. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: •   Consistently maintains the highest standards of cleanliness of all food preparation, including utensils, counters, and common areas in the kitchen. •   Follows recipes utilizing standard recipes when preparing each product. •   Ensures production of prep items, checks prep list, and inventory on hand vs. projected needs to determine what items are needed for the day. •   Ensures product rotation i.e. check walk-ins, shelves and new product received daily. •   Ensures that old and new prepped and un-prepped product is clearly marked with dates and rotated such that old product is issued and used first. •   Ensures proper storage of product. •   Maintains and operates equipment properly. •   Maintains a good communication with co-workers and guests and maintains a positive and professional work environment. •   Contributes to a team effort and accomplishes related results as required. •   Performs other duties as assigned.    Minimum Qualifications: Minimum of one year prep cook experience, large volume prep cooking preferred.  Must be 18 years of age in Arizona and 21 years of age in California. Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen, random drug and controlled substance abuse tests, background investigation, obtain and maintain gaming license in Arizona and California. Native American preference and/or experience with Native American culture and government preferred. Â
