The Hotel Maintenance position requires a positive attitude and the ability to problem solve on the go. This role requires a high degree of operational skills. Maintenance employees work with our guests and must possess good interpersonal skills. The ability to work hand in hand with your co-workers, other departments, and management to achieve the ultimate goal, a satisfied customer, is necessary for this job. Day Hotel Maintenance crew performs the various preventive and emergency tasks associated with the operation of our hotels. 

Must be 18 years or older to apply. Valid U.S. Driver's License required.

Schedule: 8:00am - 4:30pm* 
*Actual shifts may vary based on hotel occupancy. 

1st Shift Hotel Maintenance – Duties & Responsibilities

• Complete daily maintenance work orders promptly.
• Perform basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting repairs.
• Inspect and maintain guest rooms, public areas, housing and hotel facilities.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment and building systems.
• Respond quickly to guest and staff maintenance requests.
• Repair doors, locks, furniture, fixtures, and appliances.
• Replace light bulbs, air filters, smoke detector batteries, and other routine items.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with housekeeping, front desk, and management.
• Assist with emergency maintenance situations as needed.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor/Manager.
• Patch, paint, and repair drywall and other interior surfaces as needed.  

Hotel Maintenance Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED, preferred
• A valid driving license, with a clean driving record, is preferred
• Must be available to work weekends
• Must be 18 years old or older to apply
• Must be able to complete repetitive tasks while maintaining quality
• Ability to work well under pressure
