What You'll Do
As an Occupational Therapist, you will:
- Evaluate Residents and patients to develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy services in inpatient and outpatient settings
- Help individuals improve independence with activities of daily living and instrumental activities of daily living
- Recommend adaptive equipment, environmental modifications, and compensatory strategies
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, nursing staff, and caregivers to achieve optimal outcomes
- Document evaluations, progress, and discharge plans accurately and timely
- Educate patients and families on maximizing function, safety, and quality of life
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Current Pennsylvania Occupational Therapist license, or eligibility for licensure
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for serving older adults
- New graduates and experienced therapists are encouraged to apply
