Production Operator

Reports to: Site Leader

Job Purpose

The production operator fills bags with fiberglass.

Job Responsibilities

• Production consists of filling bags with fiberglass
• Varied duties of lifting, using basic tools, and material handling
• Continuously monitor machine operation and material flow to ensure productivity and quality
• Move totes, stock bags, empty trash on an as needed basis
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the site leader

Job Requirements

• Must be able to follow verbal and written procedures and instructions relating to safety, quality, and production
• PPE is required – safety toe shoes or boots (safety glasses and ear plugs will be provided)
• Maintain a safe, neat, and clean work environment including work area and equipment
• Must be able to stand in one area for extended periods of time, performing repetitive tasks
• Forklift experience is preferred

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to perform basic math skills
• Read, write, and comprehend English
• Must be able to work independently and as a team
• Must be able to lift 30 lbs
• Ability to work scheduled shift based on production needs determined by the site leader
