The Battery Technician EV Teardown is responsible to provide a safe, proper, and complete teardown of electrical vehicle batteries for further processing on the Lithium Line.

4 Day Workweek! 4/10 hour days!

2 shifts available:

1st Shift - Mon through Thurs 5:00 am to 3:30 pm

2nd shift - Mon through Thurs 3:00 pm to 1:30 am. Includes $1.00 per hour shift differential

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensures health and safety is the number one goal by following warehouse safety procedures and processes.
Daily set up of equipment
Daily inspections of electrical tools and PPETeardown electrical vehicle batteries for processing according to SOPsSort battery components into correct storage containers
Properly label containers for storage and shipment
Comply with all environmental, health and safety regulations.
All other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Frequently lift 10-40 pounds individually, and over 40 pounds with a team member.
Forklift experience.
Basic electrical experience
Ability to operate.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Attention to detail.
Teamwork and communication skills

EDUCATION AND TRAINING REQUIREMENTS

High School Diploma or GED
