About us: OTA The Koomar Center is a nationally and internationally recognized state-of-the-art outpatient clinic providing the highest quality evidence-based occupational and speech-language therapy services to children and adolescents.

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pediatric Speech and Language Pathologist to join our team. This is a full-time position. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professionals seeking flexible work hours while making a significant impact on the lives of children.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech and language disorders.
  • Conduct therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques and strategies.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including occupational therapists, mental health counselors and parents, to ensure coordinated care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient progress and treatment interventions.
  • Provide family education and support to facilitate carryover of skills into the home environment.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • State licensure or eligibility for licensure in Massachusetts.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in a clinical setting.
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of various assessment and treatment techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Flexibility to work on Saturdays.
