Assembly Technician (Levels II–V)
Location: Wolcott, IN
Reports to: Plant Manager
We are seeking Assembly Technicians across multiple levels (II–V) to support the manufacturing, assembly, calibration, and testing of our products. This progression role offers growth from entry-level assembly to advanced fabrication and full product ownership.

Assembly II (Entry-Level)
Focus: Basic assembly operations
- Perform routine assembly using written instructions or samplesÂ
- Assemble small components (screws, clips, springs, etc.)Â
- Operate simple machines and perform basic solderingÂ
- Inspect parts, report defects, and maintain work areaÂ
- Track production output and meet performance targetsÂ
What it takes:
- 2–3 months to proficiencyÂ
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterityÂ
Assembly III (Intermediate)
Focus: Advanced assembly & testing
- Perform complex assembly and calibration tasksÂ
- Interpret product variations and configurationsÂ
- Conduct leak testing and Hi-Pot testingÂ
- Package and label finished goodsÂ
- Use hand and power tools with greater precisionÂ
What it takes:
- 3–6 months to proficiencyÂ
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and troubleshoot minor issuesÂ
Assembly IV (Advanced)
Focus: Fabrication & system-level assembly
- Read prints and engineering instructionsÂ
- Assemble and fill thermal/capillary systemsÂ
- Perform calibration, leak testing, and adjustmentsÂ
- Work with welding and handle specialized materialsÂ
- Follow strict safety protocols for hazardous materialsÂ
What it takes:
- 9–12 months to proficiencyÂ
- Strong mechanical aptitude and fabrication skills (soldering, brazing)Â
Assembly V (Expert Level)
Focus: Full product ownership & complex builds
- Independently manage low-volume, high-variation ordersÂ
- Perform full fabrication, assembly, calibration, testing, and packagingÂ
- Work with advanced tools (torches, induction heating, etc.)Â
- Handle volatile materials in controlled environmentsÂ
- Ensure product quality from start to finishÂ
What it takes:
- 3–5 years to masteryÂ
- Deep product knowledge and high-level mechanical expertise
Requirements
 Work Environment & Physical Requirements (All Levels)
- Fast-paced, clean, temperature-controlled manufacturing environmentÂ
- Frequent standing, walking, and repetitive hand movementsÂ
- Ability to lift up to 10 lbs and perform detailed manual workÂ
