We're seeking a Supply Chain Planning Manager to lead Videojet's global demand-supply balancing process and drive measurable outcomes in on-time delivery and inventory performance. In this role, you'll design and execute S&OP cycles that align commercial demand signals with global supply capabilities, build analytical infrastructure to optimize inventory across Videojet's worldwide network, and deliver meaningful, sustained improvements in on-time delivery. This is an opportunity to shape a high-visibility supply chain planning function at a market-leading global company, with direct exposure to senior leadership and a clear path for career growth in operations and supply chain management.

This position will be based in Wood Dale, Illinois, with a hybrid work arrangement requiring three days onsite per week. The role will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Manufacturing, and Procurement teams to translate business priorities into executable supply plans and proactively resolve demand-supply imbalances. Success in this role means achieving measurable improvements in on-time delivery targets, inventory turnover benchmarks, and S&OP process maturity within 12–18 months.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

  • Lead the end-to-end S&OP process across Videojet's global business, ensuring demand and supply are aligned to support customer commitments across all markets.
  • Drive global on-time delivery (OTD) performance by identifying root causes of fulfillment gaps and owning corrective action plans across the supply network.
  • Build and maintain statistical demand forecasting models that integrate commercial signals, market trends, and historical data to improve forecast accuracy and reduce supply variability.
  • Manage finished goods and key component inventory strategies, balancing service level commitments with targeted inventory turnover improvements.
  • Partner with Manufacturing, Procurement, and third-party suppliers to align capacity and lead times with current and forward-looking demand plans.
  • Develop and track key supply chain KPIs — including forecast accuracy, OTD, inventory turns, and fill rate — to enable transparent, data-driven decision-making across functions.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce planning cycle waste, accelerate response time, and increase S&OP process maturity.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to incorporate new product launches, promotions, and market changes into demand planning cycles in a timely and structured manner.
  • Analyze supply risk scenarios and develop mitigation strategies to protect customer commitments during demand or supply disruptions.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Experience in demand planning, supply chain planning, or S&OP within a global manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field
  • Proven track record of improving on-time delivery, forecast accuracy, or inventory turnover through cross-functional program ownership
  • Experience with ERP and advanced planning systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or equivalent platforms)
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate cross-functional alignment and influence stakeholders across Sales, Operations, and Finance without direct authority

Additional Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading S&OP in a global, multi-site manufacturing organization
  • APICS CPIM or CSCP certification
  • Background in Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies
  • Familiarity with advanced demand planning platforms such as Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, or similar tools
  • Experience in the product identification, industrial equipment, or durable goods sectors
