Job Description:

ARDE Inc., the U.S. leader in manufacturing pressure vessels for space applications, is seeking a skilled CNC Operator/Machinist to join our 1st shift team. In this role, you will operate CNC machines to produce precision components critical to space exploration.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Program,Set up, and operate CNC Lathe machines to produce high-quality aerospace components.
  • Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment.
  • Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to optimize production processes.
  • Follow safety protocols and company procedures.

 

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience operating CNC machines.
  • Thorough understanding and ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Familiarity with Fanuc G-code programming and machine setup.

 

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • 5 + years preferred experience programming and operating CNC lathe machines.  
  • Experience with aerospace-grade materials such as Inconel and aluminum.
  • Knowledge of precision machining techniques.
  • Familiarity with inspection equipment such as calipers, gages etc
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles.
  • Conceptual Skill, Process Improvement, Functional and technical Skills, Tooling, Coordination and Measuring Equipment.
  • Self-Motivated, willing to grow with the organization.

 

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in the state of New Jersey is $18.50/hr - $59.13/hr. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
