Position Description

Status:Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Hourly
Position Purpose: Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Packs boxes and prepares product for shipment

Principle Accountabilities
- Removes finished products from the machine, places product labels, packs item in bags and cartons, and places finished product in proper location as per specifications.
- Performs advanced quality checks, and effectively communicates with operator and supervisor to ensure that finished products are made to required quality specifications.
- Aids in the proper and effective operation of the machinery.
- Willing to assist in other areas of the plant, including to cover lunches and breaks as required.
- Performs all work in a safety first mentality and with utilization of IPS lean manufacturing skills.
- Related tasks as requested by supervisor

Essential Skills and Experience
- High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
- Intermediate math skills and English written communication skills necessary.
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours at a time required
- Ability to work in space limited work area on continuous basis.
- Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs on a consistent basis
