Dietary Aide

About the Role

High Point Residence Wood River is seeking a dependable and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team. In this role, you will assist with meal preparation and service, maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment, and help ensure our residents enjoy a positive, welcoming, and dignified dining experience each day.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Previous food service, dietary, or healthcare experience preferred

  • Ability to read and follow recipes and dietary guidelines

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist with preparing and serving meals according to residents' dietary needs and physician-ordered diets

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen, including washing dishes, sanitizing work areas, and following cleaning schedules

  • Stock, organize, and rotate food and kitchen supplies

  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures

  • Provide friendly and respectful service to residents while supporting a positive dining experience

  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and fellow team members
