Job DetailsJob Location: Eastern Smiles Opco - Avenel, NJ 07001Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $24.00 - $25.00 HourlyCredentialing Specialist   About Eastern Dental: For 50+ years, Eastern Dental has been the go-to for families across every generation. Our team of dentists and specialists bring serious skill and genuine care to every patient, from toddlers to grandparents. If you're someone who actually cares about making people smile (literally), let's talk! The Role: We need someone who thrives on details and deadlines to handle all things credentialing for our dental providers. You'll be the person making sure our dentists and specialists can actually get paid by insurance companies This is a contract role, 6 months - 1 year in length, with the potential to be converted to a permanent position  What You'll Do: Manage initial credentialing and re-credentialing for all dental providers with insurance companies Handle provider enrollment with Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial insurance plans Keep our provider databases and records accurate and up-to-date Track credentialing timelines and renewal dates so nothing falls through the cracks Submit applications, follow up relentlessly, and troubleshoot any issues that come up Work with insurance companies to resolve credentialing problems and expedite approvals Coordinate with providers to gather required documentation (licenses, certifications, malpractice insurance, etc.) Maintain organized files and documentation for audits and compliance   What You Need: 2-3 years of credentialing experience preferably in dental or healthcare Solid understanding of insurance credentialing processes and requirements Experience with provider enrollment for government and commercial payers Strong organizational skills—you're managing multiple providers and deadlines simultaneously Ability to follow up persistently with insurance companies Proficiency with credentialing databases and Microsoft Office   Eastern Dental is an equal opportunity employer.
