Assistant ControllerÂ
Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking an Assistant Controller. In this role, you’ll help drive the financial health and long-term growth of a dynamic, fast-paced resort environment alongside the Resort Controller. As a trusted advisor to executive leadership, you’ll help oversee financial planning, analysis, and reporting, while ensuring compliance and optimizing profitability across resort operations.Â

Salary Range - $95k - $115kÂ
Â
Key Responsibilities  Â
Â
- Help lead financial strategy, planning, and analysis to support resort-wide goals.Â
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting.Â
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, regulatory standards, and internal controls.Â
- Provide actionable insights to executive leadership for business decision-making.Â
- Help supervise and develop the finance/accounting team.Â
- Assist with audits, tax filings, and external financial relationships.Â
- Help to drive process improvements and optimize financial systems.Â
Â
What We’re Looking For  Â
Â
- A four-year college degree (accounting preferred) or equivalent education/experience.Â
- Requires professional certification (e.g., CPA) or the equivalent level of experience.Â
- Experience required by position is three to five years of employment in a related position (Finance/Accounting) with hospitality companies/organizations is preferred. Â
- Expert Excel and problem-solving skills.Â
