Restaurant Host
Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Restaurant Host. In this role, you will provide a warm, friendly greeting with a smile and responsive service to all dining guests. You will manage the efficiency and timeliness of seating guests to their tables with their wishes in mind.Â

As part of our team, you’ll embody our Promise to Lead with Love—guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. You’ll provide a warm welcome, manage waiting times efficiently, and set a positive tone for the visit. You’ll support the team by coordinating with the servers and other team members to maintain an organized and friendly dining environment.

Pay Rate - $14 - $15/Hr.

Key Responsibilities Â
Â
- Greet and welcome guests, in a friendly manner, escorting them to the assigned dining area. Rotate tables when seating guests throughout the shift.
- Call out name and number of party when tables become available in a courteous and friendly manner with a pleasant, professional, and clear tone of voice.
- Upon seating, present menus; announce server’s name. Inspect table for proper presentation and completeness.
- Be ready and willing to assist fellow associates (servers, bussers, co-host/hostess, and management) as situations rise.
- Answer telephone with the proper Kalahari Resort verbiage.

What We’re Looking For Â
Â
- General food and beverage knowledge is required, along with at least one year of high-volume experience in an upscale dining environment.
- Open Table experience preferred.
- Ability to operate a point-of-sale and phone system.
- Must be able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
