Waterpark Administrator

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Waterpark Admin. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily administrative operations within the waterpark environment. You’ll ensure operational consistency, staff accountability, and adherence to all safety and guest service standards.

 

As part of our leadership team, you’ll embody our Promise to Lead with Love—guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. You’ll provide the behind-the-scenes administrative support that keeps the Waterpark team organized, informed, and operating efficiently. By coordinating schedules, managing records, supporting communication, and assisting department leadership, you'll help create an environment where associates can succeed and guests receive a safe, seamless, and exceptional experience.

 

*** Position starting as early as September ***

 

Pay Rate - $19 - $20/hr.

 

Key Responsibilities 

 

  • Oversee overall staffing levels and assist with ensuring all shifts are appropriately staffed and operationally ready.
  • Scheduling and interviewing waterpark candidates.
  • Ensuring compliance from pre-hire to on-the-job training with all waterpark staff.
  • Manage associate discipline processes and maintain appropriate documentation standards.
  • Ensure accurate time clock entries, edits, and payroll-related corrections as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of administrative and office areas.
  • Support operational coordination and assist with coordinator-level responsibilities when needed.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding associate records.
  • Monitor overall safety of guests and associates throughout all waterpark venues.

 

What We’re Looking For 

 

  • High school graduate or GED required.
  • At least 1-2 years of progressive experience in a hotel, waterpark, or related field is required.
  • 1 or more years of related experience in administration or office environment.
  • Knowledge of Waterpark operations. 
  • High volume scheduling experience preferred.
  • Must be proficient in computer applications and accurate data entry.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to gain Lifeguard Certification quickly. SGE Instructor Certification, Red Cross Certified Instructor, or Ellis instructor Certification status required. 
  • Strong verbal communication skills, bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
  • Must be 18 years of age at hire.

 

Physical Requirements

 

  • Must be able to move throughout the waterpark frequently.
  • Must pass a StarGuard Elite Lifeguard Class within the first month of hire.
  • Must pass a StarGuard Elite Lifeguard Instructor Class within the first three months of hire.
  • Must be able to walk, climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms.
  • Must be able to lift and move up to 10 pounds regularly, frequently lift and move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually high.
  • Regularly requires evening and weekend work.

 

Work Environment 

 

  • This job operates in an active and loud environment.
  • Candidate must be comfortable with frequent changes in the environment temperature.
  • Candidate must be able to work in indoor and outdoor weather conditions.
