Waterpark Supervisor
Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Waterpark Supervisor. In this role, you will be standing guard and saving lives as you enforce waterpark rules to maintain a safe and fun environment. You’ll also enforce and uphold associate policies and standards.Â

As part of our team, you’ll embody our Promise to Lead with Love—guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. You’ll ensure that all guests feel welcome and safe and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service always.Â

Pay Rate - $18 - $19/Hr.
Â
Key Responsibilities Â
Â
- Maintain a professional, positive, and courteous attitude towards guests and fellow associates at all times.
- Assisting with opening and closing procedures of water park rides and park cleanliness.
- Communicating with guests about attraction requirements and safety concerns.
- Conducting water rescues and administering first aid or CPR, as necessary.
- Conducting safety equipment inspections.
- Being alert and regularly inspecting pools and slides for any hazards or safety risks.
- Communicate with lifeguards in a way that does not distract them from active surveillance.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail, safety standards, and operational efficiency.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and support to lifeguards.
- Maintain a professional and approachable presence while promptly addressing and associate concerns.
- Upholding and maintaining workplace confidentiality.
- Conducting operational and safety audits.
- Ensure all attractions operate in accordance with company policies and safety standards.

What We’re Looking For Â
Â
- Proven supervisory experience is required.
- Previous Lifeguard/Waterpark Management is preferred.
- Must be 18 years of age at time of hire.
- Strong coordination and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
- Customer focused mindset with a commitment to guest and associate satisfaction.

Work EnvironmentÂ
Â
- This job operates in an active and loud environment.
- Candidate must be comfortable with frequent changes in the environment temperature.
- Candidate must be able to work in indoor and outdoor weather conditions.
Â
Physical DemandsÂ
Â
- Must be able to move throughout the waterpark frequently.
- Must pass a StarGuard Elite Lifeguard Class before employment. Pre-requisites include but are not limited to:
- Swim 50 yards/meters without stopping, swim 50 yards/meters with a rescue tube across the chest.
- Tread water for one (1) minute without use of hands.
- Must pass a StarGuard Elite Lifeguard Instructor Class within the first month of hire.
- Must be able to walk, climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms.
- Must be able to lift and move up to 10 pounds regularly, frequently lift and move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually high.
- Regularly requires evening and weekend work.
