We have an exciting opportunity for a Regional Continuous Improvement Consultant. The Regional Continuous Improvement Consultant drives operational excellence and cultural transformation within Global Seed Operations. This role leads regional CI projects, supports global initiatives, and ensures measurable impact on cost, quality, reliability, and efficiency. Acting as a change agent, the CI Consultant promotes adoption and progression of CI methodologies, delivers training, and partners with cross-functional leaders to align improvement efforts with strategic objectives and financial targets. The consultant also identifies opportunities for process optimization and collaborates with regional teams to implement sustainable solutions that enhance performance and embed CI behaviors across operations.

  • This is a hybrid role working in-office Tuesday–Thursday; remote Monday and Friday.
    • Selected candidate will be able to office from their choice of the following locations: Princeton IL, St Joseph IL, Woodhull IL, Plymouth IN, Rushville, IN, Tipton IN, Worthington, IN or Constantine MI.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Lean Management System implementations and ongoing sustainment of the management system.
  • Deliver formal training and coaching on Lean, Six Sigma, and CI tools to build organizational capability.
  • Facilitate kaizen events, workshops, and problem-solving sessions to accelerate improvement.
  • Use data and analytics to identify improvement opportunities and monitor performance.
  • Support governance processes and maintain accurate reporting of CI initiatives.
  • Act as a change agent by driving adoption of CI methodologies and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Engage stakeholders to align CI initiatives with business priorities and ensure collaboration across functions.
  • Partner with cross-functional leaders to align CI initiatives with strategic objectives and financial targets. Collaborate across functions to ensure global standards are adapted and deployed effectively at the regional level.
  • Support development and deployment of CI strategy and methodology within scope of role.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, agronomy or related field.
  • Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or agricultural operations preferred.
  • Experience in CI, Lean, Six Sigma, change management or operational excellence roles is preferred.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (or equivalent) or higher is desired in advance or should be developed within 1 year in the role.
  • Familiarity in data analytics and visualization tools.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills; ability to lead without authority.  Ability to communicate effectively in English is essential (written and verbal).
  • Ability to present and facilitate effectively for diverse cross-functional groups.
  • Domestic travel required 25% - 40%
