Counter Sales Associate

A Counter Sales Associate at White Cap demonstrates exceptional customer service to walk-in, phone, and will call customers. Responsibilities include processing orders, quoting prices, entering orders into the system, providing order information to customers, pulling orders as required, communicating product features, benefits, and warranty policy information, demonstrating knowledge of products and their applications by providing technical advice, troubleshooting, and helping resolve customers’ problems. The role also involves upselling by identifying related products, add-on extensions, and informing customers of product promotions, and performing other duties as assigned. Preferred qualifications include demonstrated success in providing excellent customer service, experience with sales order computer software (preferably Oracle), knowledge of construction and industrial products, and Spanish language proficiency.
