We're seeking a dependable and customer-focused Duct Cleaning Technician to join our growing Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) team. Position Summary

The Duct Cleaning Technician is responsible for cleaning residential HVAC duct systems using specialized equipment while delivering an exceptional customer experience. This position also educates homeowners on indoor air quality solutions and identifies opportunities for additional services that improve system performance and home comfort.

What You'll Do

  • Perform professional residential air duct cleaning services using industry-standard equipment and procedures.
  • Clean supply and return ductwork, registers, grilles, diffusers, and HVAC components.
  • Remove dust, debris, allergens, and contaminants from residential HVAC systems.
  • Inspect ductwork and HVAC systems for cleanliness, damage, or potential concerns.
  • Educate homeowners on the benefits of routine duct cleaning and indoor air quality solutions.
  • Recommend additional IAQ products and services such as air purification systems, UV lights, media filters, duct sealing, and dryer vent cleaning when appropriate.
  • Set up and safely operate vacuum collection systems, rotary brushes, compressed air tools, and other specialized cleaning equipment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Complete digital work orders, before-and-after photos, and customer documentation.
  • Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment.
  • Deliver an outstanding customer experience by communicating professionally and treating every home with care and respect.
  • Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and company procedures.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous experience in duct cleaning, HVAC, restoration, construction, home services, or mechanical trades preferred.
  • Customer service experience required.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Comfortable working in attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, and confined spaces.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment background screening and drug screening where permitted by law.

Preferred Qualifications

  • NADCA (National Air Duct Cleaners Association) certification or willingness to obtain certification.
  • Experience with residential HVAC systems.
  • Knowledge of indoor air quality products and services.
  • Sales or customer education experience.
