Occasional evening and weekend hours may be required. The Administrative Assistant’s responsibilities vary based on organizational needs and include ensuring tasks and projects are completed efficiently, confidentially, accurately, and positively. The ideal candidate for this position should have experience in both administrative assistance and the restaurant industry. The Executive Assistant is responsible for the AWM Restaurant, and part of the duties of the Administrative Assistant position will be to assist with duties in the restaurant as needed for support and coverage. Essential Duties: Administrative Duties: Handle confidential information. Open, sort, and distribute incoming correspondence, including mail and emails. Meeting management, including preparing agendas, administering digital meeting rooms, printing reports, taking notes, distributing action items, and arranging catering. Varying personal tasks, including, but not limited to, booking appointments, running errands, and ordering gifts/flowers, etc. Maintain and manage paper and electronic filing systems. Coordinate maintenance of office equipment. Maintains and organizes records, both electronic and hard copy. Assists in special projects as requested to achieve overall Ministry objectives. Resolve administrative problems and inquiries. Prepare agendas for meetings and prepare schedules. Assist with travel arrangements. Ensure the office is restocked with snacks, drinks, and office supplies. Assist with charge approvals, invoice entry, and check runs. Other miscellaneous duties as assigned. Restaurant Duties: Efficiently prepare a range of high-quality food items consistently with the approved menu. Efficiently prepare a range of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and juice, ensuring a consistently high-quality beverage. Bus tables as necessary, cleaning the seating area. Stock vending machine(s) and maintain stock. Update menu boards by rotating specials. Greet guests with professionalism and warmth, and take customer food and beverage orders accurately. Collects the proper money, counting change as needed, and works a POS system to charge accurately and accept credit card payments. QualificationsKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Good verbal and written communication skills. High degree of organizational ability. Proficiency in calendar management and scheduling. Familiarity with office equipment and procedures. Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information. Experience in preparing reports and presentations. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping. Must be able to effectively operate a Windows-based computer and navigate Microsoft Office Suite. Demonstrable problem-solving and basic math skills (able to count change back). Must be able to operate a POS system. Able to stand on your feet for long periods. Must be able to lift/and or move up to 30+ lbs. Requirements: Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Must sign the Statement of Faith. A high school diploma or equivalent education is required A Charis Bible College student or graduate is preferred. A clean and modest appearance is required. Good hygiene is required. Must pass all required checks Experience: Minimum experience of 1-2 years in an administrative role or equivalent. 6+ months of Customer Service experience preferred. Any of the following certifications are a plus: CP-FS, OSHA Safety, NAMA CCS, CFPP, PCA, AED, CPR. Compensation is commensurate with experience.
