Days Load Builder

Central Valley has been voted among the Best Places to work in the North Bay by the North Bay Business Journal. We are currently seeking a Load Builder for our Woodland facility.

The Load Builder performs routine loading and unloading of materials within the yard and warehouse; assembles load packages onto trucks for delivery to customer job sites. Works safely at all times.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2-years’ Forklift experience
• Basic math skills
• Ability to use basic hand tools
• Manual dexterity
• Lumber and/or building materials experience desired

JOB DUTIES:

• Reads and correctly pulls material listed on pick tickets.
• Loads and unloads materials for delivery.
• Operates and maintains forklift and other equipment safely.
• Identifies and locates the various types of materials carried in the yard and warehouse.
• Ensures that all materials are safely secured for delivery.
• Accuracy in pulling product and building loads. 
• Counts and checks the quality and condition of all outgoing products.
• Keeps outside yard clean and secure.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

· Walking: 6-8+ hours per day

· Standing: 6-8+ hours per day

· Bending/Twisting: 3-6 hours per day

· Squatting/Stooping: 3-6 hours per day

· Climbing: Up to 3 hours per day

· Kneeling Crawling: 3-6 hours per day

· Pushing/Pulling: 3-6 hours per day

· Hand Dexterity: 6-8+ hours per day

· Lifting 0-25 lbs.: 3-6+ hours per day

· Lifting 26-60 lbs.: 3-6 hours per day

· Carrying 0-25 lbs.: 3-6 hours per day

· Carrying 26-60 lbs.: 3-6 hours per day
