What You'll Do

As a member of our Food Safety team, you'll play an essential role in ensuring our products consistently meet regulatory, customer, and company quality standards. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Monitor daily production activities to verify compliance with food safety and quality standards.
  • Perform quality inspections throughout the production process.
  • Verify compliance with HACCP, SSOPs, GMPs, and other food safety programs.
  • Monitor Critical Control Points (CCPs) and complete required documentation.
  • Maintain accurate quality records and ensure documentation is complete, organized, and audit-ready.
  • Review inspection findings and communicate quality concerns to production leadership.
  • Assist with corrective actions and verify issues are resolved appropriately.
  • Support internal audits, customer audits, and regulatory inspections.
  • Help identify opportunities to improve food safety, quality, and operational processes.
  • Work closely with production, maintenance, and sanitation teams to promote a culture of food safety and continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a meat processing, slaughter, or food manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, SSOPs, USDA regulations, or food safety systems.
  • Previous quality assurance, food safety, or inspection experience is preferred.
  • Basic computer skills and experience with documentation or data entry.

Schedule

  • Full-time
  • 8-hour day shift
  • Monday-Friday
  • Occasional Saturdays and overtime as production needs require
