Under the direction of the General Manager and in close working relationship the production team, this individual will be responsible for quality assurance. Crist Group holds a very high standard for quality, thus precision detail is a must.
Â
Quality Control:
- Check all completed assemblies for dimensional, and cosmetic accuracy.
- FAI data collection for applicable items.
- Assist Lead in production tracking.
Â
Requirements
- Read and understand 2d and 3d drawings for assemblies and machined products.
- Familiar with manual measuring tools: Calipers, height gauge, bore gauge, depth gauge, dowel pins, tape measures, scales, protractor, angle gauges.
- Creative measuring skills
- Great basic math skills.
- Work with both imperial and metric dimensions and easily convert from one to another.
- Understand tolerance specifications and how to apply them.
- Learn and understand manufacturing processes.
- Some manufacturing skills will be needed.
- Computer skills: MS Office: Mostly Excel, Word & Outlook. Also, Adobe, Google Docs, and 3D drawing viewing programs.
- Detail orientated and organized.
- Strong communication skills to work with many members of the team.
- Work in a fast-paced environment without missing the smallest details.
