What You Will Do  

  • Independently clean and maintain restrooms, offices, break rooms, locker rooms, kitchenettes, pantries, showers, stairwells, corridors, elevators, escalators, lobbies, lounges, libraries, and other assigned work areas. 
  • Sweep and mop floors using brooms and mops. 
  • Vacuum rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies. 
  • Dust furniture, fixtures, equipment, and other surfaces. 
  • Polish metal fixtures, fittings, and trim. 
  • Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, door panels, and window sills. 
  • Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and recyclable materials to designated disposal areas. 
  • Restock restroom supplies to ensure facilities remain fully stocked. 
  • Perform assigned cleaning tasks according to established schedules and quality standards. 
  • Follow all safety procedures and properly operate cleaning equipment and materials. 
  • Maintain professional conduct and represent Didlake in a positive manner. 
  • Complete all required Didlake training and comply with company policies and procedures. 
  • Produce high-quality work while working independently and as part of a team. 
Qualifications

What You Bring  

 

Education & Experience 

  • High school diploma or GED preferred; or 
  • Minimum of six (6) months of custodial, janitorial, or related cleaning experience. 

Skills & Abilities 

  • Ability to follow simple but detailed verbal and written instructions. 
  • Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers. 
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work. 
  • Positive attitude with the ability to work as a collaborative team member. 
  • Ability to interact respectfully and effectively with employees with disabilities. 
  • Ability to work safely in environments that may include narrow walkways, moving equipment, wet, uneven, or slippery surfaces. 
  • Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, and repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the workday. 
  • Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and customer service.
