This position is responsible for providing repair service of all equipment in the practitioner’s office with a focus on excellent customer service. Work with supervisor to improve customer service skills, develop ability to use provided support tools, learn effective troubleshooting techniques, and increase product knowledge. Drive service success that improves customer satisfaction, maximizes customer retention and increases profitability. Manage more complex repair cases, troubleshoot, and resolve issues at a higher level and may support additional products. Key responsibilities include providing repair and installation services, maintaining tools, working independently on site, troubleshooting technical problems, managing inventory, assisting junior technicians, producing service reports, attending training, complying with OSHA regulations, communicating with team members and dispatchers, completing work orders and paperwork timely, complying with fleet management policies, and participating in special projects. Requires 3 Level 1 Certifications and cross-certification in digital x-ray/software or digital CAD/CAM. Skills needed include intermediate knowledge of hydraulics, mechanical and electrical systems, ability to lead installations, intermediate troubleshooting, computer skills, and strong interpersonal communication. Typically requires 3 to 5 years of dental industry experience with a strong mechanical and customer service background. Education preferred includes High School diploma, vocational training, or technical school certification. The role involves physical demands such as maneuvering large equipment, bending, lifting, and climbing ladders.
