Responsibilities

Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and systems such as HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, and electrical wiring
Monitor and maintain mechanical equipment including water heaters, furnaces, large and small boilers, electric baseboard heat, A/C units, door buzzers, etc.
Complete maintenance work orders in occupied units
Respond to residents and communicate in a courteous manner through our mobile app
Purchase supplies for buildings and provide labeled receipts for those supplies
Document time to complete work orders using our mobile property management app, on your smart phone
Maintain building grounds and common areas by picking up trash, planting flowers, etc.
Prepare vacant units for new residents--Lighting, sinks and faucets, appliances, flooring, tile, general repairs, HVAC, preventative maintenance
Develop and execute preventative maintenance measures to keep buildings looking and operating efficiently; prevent any safety risks
Handle additional maintenance tasks as needed

Qualifications

Knowledge of building systems, and the ability to troubleshoot and fix problems
Advanced understanding of maintenance equipment, procedures, and techniques
Available to be on call and respond to maintenance requests on nights and weekends
Excellent work ethic, communication skills, time management skills, and attention to detail
Position requires travel between properties in your own reliable vehicle. We will verify that you have a good driving record and a clean background check before you are hired
