We're looking for a Nurse Leader with skilled nursing/long term care experience to oversee and mentor a wonderful team of facility leaders and their staff. We are immediately interviewing RNs with previous Director of Nursing experience in a Skilled Nursing/Long-Term Care setting to fill the role of Regional Nurse Consultant. This position will require travel: Utah and Wyoming. Company car Cell phone reimbursement We're looking for a great fit to share responsibilities and work in concert with a team of outstanding Nurse Consultants. Assisting and supporting Directors of Nursing and their teams within our facilities, by providing education, support, audits Develop and maintain the nursing programs and policies Develop, maintain, and periodically update written nursing policies, procedures, manuals, objectives Assist in developing and implementing methods for coordinating nursing services with other resident services State survey management and training to staff. Educate and assist with implement plans of action to correct deficiencies.   QualificationsRequired qualifications: 3 years previous DON experience Extensive knowledge of current standards of practice and the rules, regulations, and laws related to the Skilled Nursing Facility industries. Ability to teach this knowledge to others. A nursing degree from an accredited college or university or be a graduate of an approved RN program Must also meet state requirements for relevant licensures or certifications and have no disciplinary action in effect against professional license. Travel will be required
