Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and dependable Bar Food Runner / Barback to support bartenders and kitchen staff in delivering fast, efficient, and high-quality service. This role is essential to keeping bar operations running smoothly by assisting with food delivery, bar setup, restocking, and cleanliness. The ideal candidate thrives in a high-energy environment, works well under pressure, and takes pride in supporting the team.

Key Responsibilities

Food Running

• Deliver food orders from the kitchen to the bar and guest tables promptly and accurately

• Ensure food is presented properly and meets quality standards before delivery

• Communicate with kitchen and bar staff regarding order timing and special requests

• Assist with clearing plates and maintaining clean service areas

Barback Support

• Stock and restock bar supplies including liquor, beer, wine, ice, glassware, garnishes, and napkins

• Keep bar stations clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout service

• Assist bartenders during peak hours to ensure fast and efficient drink service

• Remove empty bottles, trash, and recycling; maintain cleanliness behind the bar

• Help with bar opening and closing duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills

• MUST be at least 18 years old

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

• Strong teamwork and communication skills

• Attention to detail and sense of urgency

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks during busy shifts

• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays

• Prior bar or restaurant experience preferred but not required

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have excellent interpersonal, problem solving and negotiating skills

• Must be a team player

• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Must be able to work flexible schedules including weekends, nights, and holidays

• Must be age 18 or older

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Must be able to lift 30 pounds

• May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time whether indoors or outdoors

• Facility has intermittent noise
