Job Description

Job Summary:**
Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the Kraft Heinz Food Company facility, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and operational efficiency.

Job Responsibilities:**
* Perform a variety of sanitation tasks, including cleaning, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and sanitizing production areas, equipment, and general facility spaces.
* Operate and maintain sanitation equipment such as floor scrubbers, power washers, and foamers.
* Handle and dispose of waste and recycling materials according to company procedures and environmental regulations.
* Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including lockout/tagout, chemical handling, and personal protective equipment (PPE) usage.
* Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and other food safety guidelines.
* Inspect work areas for cleanliness and identify any sanitation issues or hazards.
* Assist with other general labor tasks as assigned by supervisors.
* Document sanitation activities and complete required forms accurately.
* Work effectively as part of a team to achieve sanitation goals.

Job Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Previous experience in a sanitation role, preferably within a food manufacturing environment, is a plus.
* Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, bend, stoop, and reach.
* Must be able to work in varying temperatures and environmental conditions (wet, hot, cold).
* Basic understanding of food safety principles and GMPs preferred.
* Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
