Key Responsibilities:

 

The Final Test Assembler is responsible for testing final assemblies, Fans, Blowers, Modules. In this position the Assembler will Inspect appearance and assure that all the components are securely and properly installed according to the company quality standards and design specifications.

 

  • Study and interpret assembly drawings.
  • Retain training and instructions given by department leads and supervisors
  • Determine if all products are acceptable based on company standards
  • Read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
  • Interpret measurements using Rotron and customer documentation
  • Verify specifications per drawings.
  • Ensure working environment is clean and safe.
  • Understand all product lines
  • Have a functional understanding of all databases 
  • Set up of test benches both AC and DC
  • Per-test units before burn-in operation
  • Test per QCI, ATP, order supplement, motor series, electronic files                    
  • Understand how to operate units based on documentation
  • Ability to read Final Inspection Drawings.
  • Perform mechanical inspection with required tools (ex. Dial caliper, height gauge, ruler)
  • Pre-test per ESE for setting various potentiometers
  • Check dynamic balance per ESM 1893
  • Learn the different ways dynamic balance is achieved using clips and or F228 (Balancing compound) when needed

 

 

Requirements For Consideration:

 

  • Understanding of Electrical Principles.
  • Knowledge of Soldering J-STD-001 requirements
  • Knowledge of Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) requirements and protocols
  • Ability to work from technical drawings, customer specifications, mil-specs, mil-standards, written and oral instructions, and engineering orders.
  • Ability to use a computer, hand tools, dial calipers, and test equipment (ie: AC/DC power supplies, digital multimeters, and oscilloscope, etc.)
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
  • Ability to preform well under pressure
  • A High School Diploma or GED.
  • Pay attention to detail.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination.
  • Willing to perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
  • Maintain excellent quality and workmanship.
  • Good eye/hand coordination
  • Able to see close-up, detailed work
  • Able to sit or stand for long periods of time
  • Able to lift 50 lbs
