Labor Grade - 4

Perform a variety of helper's duties as directed, to assist in set-up, adjustment, and operation of all casting lines.
Attend take-up end of machine. Stack materials and apply proper identification. Move material as necessary.
Perform standardized weight and thickness on starts and during operation. Chart all checks on control charts. Make required calculations; record results, and report to operator. Operate computer as needed.
Detect unusual conditions, defective material, or operating difficulties and report to operator or supervisor. Assist in maintaining/cleaning equipment and work areas. All other duties as assigned by supervisor. Rotate between duties as required.
