Job DetailsJob Location: Woodstock, ILPosition Type: SeasonalRegional Garden Center Merchandiser Seasonal Supervisor Position Our Regional Garden Center Merchandisers will work at multiple retail locations with the responsibility to: 路 Assist garden centers staff with plant deliveries, merchandise plant displays, and special projects 路 Support and guide Dan & Jerry's Garden Center Merchandisers 路 Assist staff to assure high-quality standards as established by Dan & Jerry's are maintained 路 Provide exceptional customer service support 路 Effectively communicate with Territory Manager daily on garden center conditions 路 Typically working at 5-6 stores per week 路 April - June availability 路 Proper placement and displaying Garden Center Signage. 路 Water plants when necessary 路 Utilize Dan and Jerrys online inventory system to account for unsellable product 路 Disposing of unsellable plant material Safety: 路 Safety is a top priority at Dan and Jerry鈥檚 Greenhouses, you will take an active leadership role in promoting a safe working culture. Job Type: Full-time Schedule: Qualifications路 Customer service experience 路 MUST be trustworthy with a willingness to learn 路 MUST have acceptable Motor Vehicle Record for company insurance purposes 路 MUST have a cell phone & a valid email address for work purposes. Cell phone allowances will be provided. 路 Candidates must be able to work independently and have a positive and professional attitude. 路 Plant knowledge is a plus, will train motivated individuals with a desire to learn more about the industry More about this role: 路 Day shift 路 Evening shift 路 Monday to Friday 路 Weekend availability Work Location: On the road
