Job DetailsLevel: ExperiencedJob Location: Swedesboro, NJ 08085Position Type: Full Time 36 HoursEducation Level: 2 Year DegreeSalary Range: $38.00 - $50.00 HourlyTravel Percentage: NoneJob Shift: DayJob Category: Health CareAMI is seeking a Full time, 36 hour per week Mammography / X-Ray Technologist to join the team in the Woolwich office location!  This is a great opportunity to join a growing outpatient radiology practice.   AMI offers a generous compensation and benefits package including medical, prescription, dental, vision, flexible spending accounts, Paid Time Off (PTO), Paid Holidays, 401k and Profit sharing and the opportunity to work in an exciting and progressive outpatient practice.  Offered rates increase based on years of work experience.   The Mammography / X-Ray Technologist is responsible for but not limited to: Performs mammography examinations according to the technical standards established by the radiology department.  Performs X-Ray examinations according to the technical standards established by the radiology department.  Utilizes instructional information and methods as established by the management.  According to office policy, provides for the safety, health and well-being of all patients, visitors and co-workers.  Becomes familiar with and ready to respond to emergency codes and life safety practices as established by the Practice. Performs all other related duties as assigned to ensure that optimum radiologic care, efficient and orderly flow of patients and safe, expedient office operation occurs daily. Provides informal supervision and instructional advice to non-technical personnel assigned to the work area.  Utilizes all departmental clerical equipment including computerized information system, copy machines, etc., to ensure that all required office record keeping and documentation is accurate, timely and accessible.    This 40 hour per week position will be based in AMI's Woolwich office location.  Occasional coverage may be assigned in Mullica Hill, Deptford, or Glassboro as needed.  The work schedule includes 7:30am-8pm on Thursday, Friday, and every other weekend as detailed in the schedule sample below: Week 1: Thursday, Friday, Saturday  Week 2: Sunday, Thursday, Friday  Week 3: Thursday, Friday, Saturday Week 4: Sunday, Thursday, Friday Schedules are subject to change based on business needs. QualificationsCandidates must be a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) for Mammography and hold a current Xray Technologist license in the State of NJ.  Must have full knowledge of all aspects concerning radiation protection. Must be Mammography Certified/experienced. Previous Dexa experience preferred.  American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained prior to the start of employment and certification must require hands on instruction. Exceptional interpersonal skills and communication, both in person and on the phone, with a focus on the patient experience is required for success in the position.
