You will report directly to our Operations Manager or Production Supervisor, and you will work out of our Woonsocket, RI location on an On-site work schedule.

 

The Assembler Level 2 in the Film Processing Department is critical to the fabrication and testing of resistofilm components utilized in potentiometers. This role involves a variety of processes, including the preparation of the resistive mix, application of carbon and silver mixtures onto Mylar/Kapton sheets or molded substrates through spraying or screen printing, and subsequent curing, cutting, abrading, and testing.  

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Fabricate and test resistofilm components according to established procedures and specifications
  • Conduct the chemical composition of the resistive mix
  • Apply carbon and silver mixtures onto substrates using appropriate methods (spraying/screen printing)
  • Cure the applied films to meet required resistance tolerances
  • Cut, abrade, and test the resistive elements using specified equipment
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with clean room protocols
