Position Summary

In the Retail Field Organization, we support our Company’s purpose by ensuring we train and develop best- in-class health care providers that employ both clinical and retail expertise to deliver personalized, caring patient experiences resulting in optimal patient health outcomes.  

RxDrug team leads innovation and management of drug data and information within our retail dispensing system. The Senior Analyst, RxDrug works under the guidance of the Manager, Retail Store Operations to support a portfolio of new retail drug initiatives in which we strive to implement solutions that achieve our strategic vision while creating an elevated experience for customers and colleagues. Additionally, the role also supports our field, pharmacy and internal colleagues by completing day-to-day activities critical to pharmacy operations, as well as the enterprise.

To achieve this, you will use your collaboration skills to help the team build strong relationships with partners in multiple business units including Retail Operations, Enterprise Strategy, Retail Growth, Trade Relations, Merchandising, Specialty, Clinical, Patient Safety, Legal, RxRegulatory, etc. including direct engagement with First DataBank – our drug compendium provider. You will support the teams as they guide the strategy and implementation of a portfolio of new initiatives end to end operationally. You will engage with other teams to help influence their processes across multiple formats and support the development of processes for monitoring and tracking success. You will support pharmacy teams and field leaders, who ultimately provide service to our patients. You will engage with the business and IT partners to ensure all operational deadlines and timelines are maintained.

You will impact our business in the following ways:

  • You will support the RxDrug strategy for drug-related changes that will transform how to operate, partnering with various teams on new initiatives. You will advocate for our pharmacy and store teams to ensure the experience is smooth, engaging, well understood, effectively implemented and meets our pre-determined markers of success.  You will also serve as a subject matter drug expert for all retail store and pharmacy operations. You will partner and advocate with the team to engage and develop appropriate solutions for our colleagues, allowing them to make appropriate decisions about drug products and deliver appropriate interactions with our pharmacy patients.
  • You will support all internal processes needed from partners to successfully roll out new initiatives, whether specific to the RxDrug team  or across the enterprise. You will support and execute field and store communications, as needed, related to our direct initiatives. You will ensure all store and field teams have the training and tools necessary to be successful.
  • You will help the team(s) ensure all clinical skills, operational effectiveness, and leadership skills are in place at the right time to meet the needs of these businesses.  This includes, but is not limited to, support driving effective prescription growth, implementing innovative pharmacy and service strategies that differentiate CVS pharmacy from our competitors, leading with heart to engage, inspire and develop our colleagues, as well as reinforcing our focus on clinical, legal and regulatory components that are critical in our highly regulated industry.
  • Finally, you will support the team with development and engagement programs, to ensure we have the appropriate level of talent cross-trained to support current and future needs.



Required Qualifications
 

  • 3-5 years of full-time work experience in a retail and/or corporate environment.

  • Strong knowledge of pharmacy workflows and dispensing systems, with the ability to work independently, adapt to ambiguity, and thrive in a dynamic, evolving environment.
  • Proven interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrated through successful cross-functional collaboration, stakeholder engagement, and clear written and verbal communication.
  • Strong analytical, time management, and decision-making skills, with a track record of managing sensitive business matters, meeting multiple deadlines, and embracing feedback with a growth mindset.
  • Proficiency in SQL, GCP, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Travel - Periodic travel, up to 10%, may be required based on the needs of the business.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5-8 years of full-time work experience in a retail and/or corporate environment.
  • Preferred ability to work in a hybrid environment requiring 3 or more days in office to support deliverables.
  • Master's degree, Pharmacy Technician Certification

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$46,988.00 - $112,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
