Your Key Responsibilities

  • Rotate in departments related to the trade to complete 8000 on-the-job training hours and successfully complete related classroom instruction specific to the trade
  • Work closely with a Journeyperson to create/maintain CNC programs using CAM and must be proficient in understanding NC code and writing NC programming manually
  • Work closely with a Journeyperson to develop new processes, and optimizing existing turning, milling, and grinding processes for automotive components
  • Optimize processes for improving tool life and cost, process capability and cycle time
  • Requires a highly motivated individual who is willing to learn and apply acquired skills
