Job DetailsJob Location: Smithville Western Care Center - Wooster, OH 44691Sprenger Health Care is a third generation, leading developer, owner and operator of senior living communities and services in Ohio and South Carolina. Through our 12-nursing home, 10 assisted living, and 8 independent living communities encompassing nearly 2,000 beds, we provide exceptional health care services, including; long-term nursing care, assisted and independent living, memory care, hospice, home care, respite care, and short-term post-acute rehabilitation. Qualifications: Must have a valid driver’s license High school education preferred 2 years experience in related field. Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry. Essential Job Functions: Build various structures requiring the use of various materials. Organize fire drills, maintain records of fire drills, check all extinguishers and assist Fire Marshall with inspections. Do minor plumbing repairs such as, replacing and unclogging hair traps, unplugging toilets, repairing washers and dryers, replacing broken pipes/water lines.  Follow established performance standards and performs duties according to maintenance policies and procedures. Make environmental rounds routinely and initiate corrective action as necessary. Supervise maintenance department personnel.
