Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Vehicle Patrol Driver in Wooster, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare setting, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide compassionate customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, patient care areas, parking facilities, entrances, and surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, report suspicious conditions or policy violations, and assist with directing individuals to appropriate locations.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
