Description

Notre Dame Health Care- At Home DivisionAdministrative AssistantFull-Time (40 hours) Days

The Administrative Assistant, working under the direction of the Business Office Manager, serves as the primary point of contact for individuals calling the Notre Dame at Home service line, and is responsible for delivering a warm, compassionate, and professional first impression. The Administrative Assistant is expected to possess a thorough understanding of the organization and its services, and be able to provide clear, concise information to callers when appropriate.


Key responsibilities include:

  • managing incoming calls by identifying the purpose, directing callers to the appropriate personnel or department.
  • accurately documenting interactions in the electronic medical record.

Additional duties include:

  • distributing mail, scanning and faxing documents
  • providing general clerical support to the management team as needed.


Requirements

ยท High school diploma or equivalent required; associates degree preferred

ยท Basic to intermediate computer skills using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) required

ยท 1-3 years of medical front office or administrative experience required
