Pay: $50,000-$55,000 Annually

 

YOU, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Assistant Program Director I to support the clinical and administrative operations of our Children’s Congregate Care program. This role plays a vital part in ensuring high-quality, trauma-informed services for emotionally and behaviorally impacted children and adolescents. Working closely with the Program Director, the Assistant Program Director helps oversee daily operations, staff performance, and service delivery while advancing the organization’s mission and values.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the oversight of intake, assessment, and treatment services for all individuals served in the program

  • Assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating program activities to ensure quality, effectiveness, and compliance

  • Provide clinical and administrative leadership to support the delivery of long-term, short-term, emergency, and therapeutic services

  • Serve as a liaison between the program, external agencies, and the broader community

  • Maintain required records, data collection, and statistical reports in accordance with funding and regulatory requirements

  • Participate in quality management activities to promote collaboration, standardization, and continuous improvement across programs

  • Support hiring processes with approval from the Program Director; assist in training, supervising, and evaluating staff, interns, and volunteers

  • Assist in monitoring budget expectations related to program census, staffing ratios, and expenses

  • Help ensure ongoing maintenance, safety, and readiness of program facilities, equipment, and materials

  • Monitor compliance with licensing and accreditation requirements, including National Council on Accreditation standards

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • One to three years of related experience in human services, behavioral health, or residential care settings

  • Behavioral health clinical licensure preferred (LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, Licensed Psychologist)

  • Experience working with children and adolescents with emotional and behavioral challenges strongly preferred

  • Demonstrated ability to support staff supervision, program coordination, and service delivery

  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License required
