The Registrar's Office seeks a detail-oriented and collaborative Temporary Data and Systems Coordinator to provide critical support for the office's data management, reporting, and student information system operations during a two-year appointment. Working closely with the Data and Systems Manager, this position will help ensure the accuracy, integrity, and effective use of student records and administrative systems while supporting day-to-day operational needs.

The successful candidate will assist with data requests, system maintenance, troubleshooting, and data quality initiatives that support the Registrar's Office and the broader campus community.

Job Description

Major Areas of Responsibility
 

Data Management and Reporting

  • Assist with responding to routine and ad hoc data requests from campus partners.

  • Support data extraction, validation, and reporting activities.

  • Review and verify data accuracy and consistency across systems.

  • Assist with data audits and data cleanup projects to improve data integrity and reliability.
     

Systems Support

  • Assist in the day-to-day management and monitoring of the student information system and related applications.

  • Monitor system processes and workflows to ensure scheduled jobs, integrations, and business processes are functioning as expected.

  • Identify, document, and troubleshoot system issues, escalating complex problems as appropriate.

  • Support testing and implementation of system updates, enhancements, and process improvements.
     

Operational Support

  • Collaborate with Registrar's Office staff to support registration, records management, degree audit, and other key operational functions.

  • Maintain process documentation and assist with developing user guides and training materials.

  • Provide support for special projects and initiatives related to student records, data governance, and systems optimization.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Experience working with databases, administrative systems, or student information systems preferred.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work with large datasets while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Experience using spreadsheet and reporting tools.

  • Strong communication and customer service skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across departments.

The hourly range for this position is $30.00 - $33.00/hour.
