This is a Fulltime onsite position in our Dental Department.


Position Summary:

The Dental Patient Services Representative position combines administrative duties with patient care coordination in a dental healthcare setting. 

Representative assists patients by accurately verifying and updating demographics and insurance information, handling co-pays, scheduling, rescheduling and canceling appointments, and patients check-in/check-out. The Dental Patient Services Representative also provide patient education material, resolve tasks from medical providers, scrubs schedules and assure patient waitlist is updated in timely manner. Dental Patient Services Representative ensures efficient patient flow are being followed providing consistent high quality service, problem-solving, deescalates issues or concerns and establish communication with medical teams for the purpose of patient satisfaction. Customer service and patient satisfaction are key initiatives in this role. 

 

Education and Experience:

  • High School / GED required.   Two to four years college or a combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.  
  •  Medical Office Administration certificate strongly preferred. Bilingual English/Spanish required, or as needed to support other health center languages.
  • EPIC experience is preferred but now required  


Reporting Relationship:

Reports directly to the Director of Dental Services.
