Job Description: As Dough Maker, you are responsible for accurately and efficiently preparing quality product for baking in a timely manner for the production line.Â
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIESÂ
• Working knowledge of operation of different types of process equipment with varying degrees of automationÂ
• Comprehend and follow processes control instructions and/or formula recipes and procedures (including completing paperwork)Â
• Responsible for quality of products, ensuring that the correct amounts of dough are produced for productionÂ
• Working knowledge of all sanitary practices as they pertain to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and equipment washoutsÂ
• Coordinate with Production personnel to successfully transfer product to the production linesÂ
• Preparation of raw materials for processingÂ
• Ensure dough and shortening temperature meets standard requirementsÂ
• Assist in cleaning, maintaining and inventory of filling material storage areasÂ
• Ability to use a manual pallet jack and stacker lift for retrieval of dough making materialsÂ
• Other duties as assignedÂ
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTSÂ
• Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid photo IDÂ
• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorilyÂ
• Ability to read, analyze, and interprets general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.Â
• Ability to clearly and effectively complete necessary documentation, and write business correspondence.Â
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.Â
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Â
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.Â
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.Â
• Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.Â
• The employee understands the importance of food safety- Legality, Safety, Quality and Authenticity of the product. Any issues noticed or suspected are brought to the attention of management immediately. • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or minimum of 1 year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Pay is based upon several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. Rise Baking Company complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
