Job Description

We are looking for a motivated, friendly, highly capable Medical Assistant who can also provide support at our front desk.

Duties:

Prepare patients for exams rooming and medical history.
Assist dermatologists during procedures such as biopsies, excisions and cryotherapy
Set up and sterilized instruments and treatment rooms
Document patient visits, chief complaint, history of present illness (HPI)
Apply topical medication, dress wounds, and provide post-procedure care
Educate patients on skincare routines, medications and aftercare instructions
Administrative duties, schedule appointments and manage patient flow
Document patient information in electronic medical records (EMR)
Cleaning and stocking rooms

Qualifications

Full-time: Monday – Thursday 07:30 AM to 4:30 PM
Fridays – 07:30 AM 2:00 PM

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience:

Medical Assisting experience is preferred
Front Desk / Receptionist experience is preferred
Dermatology experience is a huge plus
