Pay: $17.00 to $20.00/hr.

Position Summary
The Receptionist provides front lobby telephone coverage for one of Promises Behavioral Health’s residential facilities or other offices and serves as initial greeter for visitors, families and potential clients.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Works with the admissions staff and other internal team members to determine and maintain a list of expected clients or quests that could be visiting or arriving at the facility or office.
- Notifies the appropriate team member when clients or quests arrives.
- Provides primary telephone coverage for the Facility and ensures calls are transferred to the appropriate department.
- Provides accurate information and/or directs callers to the appropriate team member to answer inquires.
- Maintains front office and lobby appearance.
- Provides excellent customer service and directs customer flow.

- Follow organization policies and procedures addressing the care of individuals served identified as at risk for suicide, including requirements for screening, assessment, and monitoring.
- As applicable based on job role, knowledgeable about strategies for treating alcohol, cocaine, and other drug abuse.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
- Minimum of six (6) months of Customer Service experience
- Experience working for a healthcare company preferred.
- Previous Receptionist experience in a fast paced, busy front office environment preferred.
